VisuaStim XGA
We are proud to introduce our third generation of 3D Visual Stimulation devices, the VisuaStim XGA. VisuaStim XGA represents the pinnacle of over 10 years of research and development.
This advanced, MRI compatible headmounted display resembles a set of eyeglasses and is small enough to fit inside the headcoil. Each individual eye displays an incredible 1024 X 768 resolution at 32 bit color depth. Even small text from your computer is clearly readable. For patients who normally use eyeglasses, vision correction is included with the system.
The dual-Vga input on our stereo version allows for real-time stereoscopic 3D to be displayed at full resolution. This feature allows you to present Virtual Reality-type visual paradigms which have depth and appear to emerge from the screen. This provides an unprecedented level of realism at your disposal.
Our upcoming 3D stimulation package is a complete turnkey system that will include a library of Stereo 3D paradigms and allows you to import your own. The software will also record data from the eyetracker and sychronize with your EPI sequence.
Coupled with the included auditory stimulation system and the optional eyetracking module, the VisuaStim XGA provides a complete virtual environment completely enclosed within the headcoil.
VisuaStim XGA Featuring state-of-the-art digital display technology, the Visua Stim XGA easily outperforms all competitors. With a 1024 X 760 resolution display anddual-XGA input, your patients can easily read computer text, and graphics, directly from your PC or Mac. True, three-dimensional paradigms can now bepresented to your patients, with no color aberration, pixel dropout or pixellation, endemic to inferior, fiber-optic based displays.
The compact display fits over your patient's head like a pair of glasses and with less than 2.5cm depth (1 in.), will fit inside most major manufacturer's headcoils, up to 26cm in diameter. Coupled with the optional MR-Eye eyetracker, a whole rangeof possibilities exist for interactive visual paradigms with real-time patient response tracking.
