Commander XG fMRI
fMRI Audio System
Commander XG for fMRI: High quality audio for auditory stimulation.
When critical high quality audio is a must, only the best will do. The Commander XG for fMRI offers the highest sound quality available in an MRI-compatible sound system. Frequency response from 20 Hz. to 30 kHz. is available with our system to reproduce a wide variety of sound stimuli output from any audio source. The completely MRI compatible system meets FDA 510k, CE and UL safety standards and produces no image loss or artifacts. The 30 dB noise attenuation headset, whose compact design allows it to fit inside all standard headcoils, reduces the distracting gradient noise. This ensures the subject will hear your stimuli when you present it. Two-way communication and dual volume controls allow you to communicate with the patient during the sequence and also allows you to record verbal response. The built-in active noise-canceling microphone enables clear patient verbal response with a minimum of background. The dual audio control allows you to monitor the audio without affecting the output levels to the patient.
Commander XG is expandable and can be upgraded with the addition of the VisuaStim XGA visual display or Ultra-Fidelity Headsets, which provide an even greater frequency response.
